These are some of the latest Doodles Google has rolled out at their homepage. Creativity never ceases its appeal to me. Here’s a statement from Google about their Doodles: “Having a little bit of fun with the corporate logo by redesigning it from time to time is unheard of at many companies but at Google, it is a part of the brand. While the doodle is primarily a fun way for the company to recognize events and notable people, it also illustrates the creative and innovative personality of the company itself.” [from the Doodle History at http://www.google.com/doodle4google/history.html] Don’t be afraid to go off-piste. I’m guilty of having the end pages of my notepads squiggled full of ink and graphite sketches. Besides giving myself and everyone else (the connoisseurs and critics) a chance to have fun, I find these free-hand sessions a reprieve from the monotony of a day’s life. Go ahead and let creativity meld with your singular identity; let it be a part of your being. Have fun appreciating art and creating art yourself!
